This was done as an illustration for this year's holidays.
Someone has been bad this year... But who? Was it Santa that got coal for a present...? Try to find out =)

I had a lot of fun with this illustration. Especially because it is based on all the interaction between the characters.

Last thought

I have remade a simple sketch that I have done a long, long time ago.
It was interesting to see how much progress I have done in these years.

It is trying to explain what happens to a person in the moment of death... they say that the whole life flashes before your eyes... but what is the last thought...? Probably the loved ones that one had to leave behind...

Permafrost

This is the quickest illustration I did up to now, mainly because it was the first with a dedline =)
And there is also a little storry behind it: some weeks ago I dremt about a Christmas vilage somewhere in the permafrost. It's the place where the elves live. Each evening they awake once the Christmas lights turn on. These lights make them joiful and so they make toys and other presents all through the night. In the erly morning they load a big slaigh and take the newly made gifts to the big mountain some miles out of town. They deep freeze them, so they are fresh and new once Christmas comes again.
I didn't want to make it old fationed, so the scene is set to erly evening with the winter sun still giving away a little light.
So, hope you like it and happy holidays to you all =)

First school project in this semester.
It didn't take me long... though I think I could do a better job.
Anyways, I hope you like it =)

Dry

The story behind this ilustration goes like this: an evil sea witch was angry with the mermaids beauty and happines, so she stole her from the sea and stranded her on a high rock, from where she could not escape. She would have to wait on the dry stone untill she would vanish from drought. But will she manage to find a way back ro the ocean...? That's up to you =)
The ilustration took me about 3 days. It was sketched out and painted in photoshop.
Crits are welcome yet again =)

Evening nap

This is my first digital ilustration.
First I made a quick pencil sketch, scaned it and painted it in Photoshop. It took me about 3 days (I'm very slow =)
It depicts a little dwarf having a nap, who is about to be desturbed by the playful pixy sitting on the shroom =)
Since I'm very eager to improve, I'll be grateful for any coments and good crits.

Our girl

Done in PS, this image took me quite a while.

It's an ilustration to an article about a girl who commited suicide... It's more or less simbolic... I will not bother explaining however, because it should be obvious =)
I used a self photograph for reference, because I'm not yet good enough to draw convincing emotion from scratch. Otherwise it's done completely with a graphic tablet.
I know it could be a whole lot better but, hey, I'm only a beginner still =)

So, I hope you like it,

C&C-s are most appreciated =)
